Terrain Photos
We have a fair bit of terrain which we've used to make countless worlds - here are some of our favorites!

Nasty CityFight Terrain

So we're setting up terrain for a CityFight scenario, and the idea hits us to combine our trench terrain with our buildings and rubble to create the ultimate nightmare of a city which has had house to house fighting for months - a true urban combat nightmare. We ran out of time to begin the game though (company had to leave unexpectedly) but sometime soon we will have a battle using this insane terrain combination!

far trenches are actually land raiders :-)

Here's an industrial complex we set up one evening
using some Necromunda structures, along with some
of our homemade terrain. With so many places to hide,
the shooting was nasty!

Here's a great shot of a carnifex on an otherwise lovely day in the mountains :-)
That's a 10 man tac squad there in the bunker - it got ugly after this, the carnifex charged and got stuck in h2h for three turns with this squad! Due to the heroic efforts of a nearby assault squad who came to help - a couple of the tac guys acually lived to tell the tale!

Here it is - a shot of the assault guys running in - in the foreground you can see a swarm of gaunts running nearby - the battle was far from over!

Good example of how a little flowery terrain can make an interesting landscape - a few trees, a couple of craters, some ruins (SO easy to make!), and viola - interesting alien planet :-) The ground is just a sheet of fabric with a green nature pattern on it.

On a more tactical note - notice the defensive BA formation, shooting the Nids as they run up. Attack Bikes on the left flank of the formation - backed up by jump pack assault troops at the extreme left flank. the attack bikes can swiftly move to offer fire support to the tac squads, and the assault squad can easily jump fire and assault anything that can threaten the tac squads as well.

Here is a shot from one of the most fun games ever - 1500pts of SpaceMarines working WITH 1500pts of Eldar to fight off about 2000 pts of Nid who all fought as "without number" - the Eldar/SM goal was to survive 6 turns.
We set up the terrain as if the Eldar/SM force was trying to hold out in this small complex - the terrain was good, there were a couple of bunkers, and the structure itself offered an excellent firing platform.
There was carnage everywhere, we all had a great time :-)
