The question has been raised - how many of you take 'balanced' armies? To this question I wrote the following... fielding extreme armies - some like it hot - some not... Armies which take a bit of everything can (if used properly) do pretty well in most any situation, but I've found it can also be fun to field more extreme armies and explore the various pros and cons of them as well. Some of these extreme variants will get slaughtered, and some may do really well - the trick is to learn where they do well, and keep that as a trick up your sleeve for the day when you face a veteran of that army who really challenges you! :-) It isn't fun to pound other players, but it is interesting to discover new tactics, new assault strategies. So I say push the envelope and field some wierd armies, field shooty armies - field assault armies - field static armies and field mobile armies - see the differences between them and learn what's useful where. Then you will have a better understanding of things - which will help make the games more exciting for everyone :-) Happy games to all! Glory to the Emperor and Sanguinius ~ Brother Edward
