In my mind there a few of the oldest/most capable veterans in my company have a black tattoo of a Blood Angels symbol on their forehead - to date this is my second mini to have one (good gravy do I hate painting those things! AAAGGHH!!) but they look cool so had to do it :-) We can see the lightning claws better in this pic, details as to how I painted them are here
Here we can also see better the cables running from the jumppack to the lightning claws - haven't painted those yet - still have yet to decide how I'll deal with them. I gave this fellow a lock of grey hair as a sign of his age, that combined with the unusual skin shading (as compared to my other minis) gives this fellow a distinct look. My other minis just have a simple fleshwash to add dimension/depth to their faces - this fellow had an unusual wash of dirty paintbrush water which happened to turn out well so I kept it (accidents can lead to good things sometimes!) :-)
