Here's a detail shot of the body. Bullet dings and weathering everywhere. A few blue sensors can be seen, I used a thick dark blue (thick so the dried paint would have a somewhat rounded shape, then that was touched with a high glosscoat to give it (hopefully) the appearance of a lense. Blood Angel blood drop icons are evident on the center skull decoration and I decided to carry it over to the decal as well. This being one of the old school drednoughts the barrels on the smoke launcher are solid metal, I used a drill to give a little depression - then painted the inside with black paint, overall it give a good suggestionof a barrel. I added two shades of silver to the power claw, a darker silver for random scratches, then a specific highlight of mithril silver to all the main edges of the claw to show some real wear and tear. I figure these things have to have the toughest paint ever made - but a few scratches happen when you tear into tanks and such :-)
