Death Company Marine Chaos Black base, highlighted with grey, then a black inkwash. Red detailing was done with a couple of coats of blood red then sealed with a red ink wash. The blood red teardrops were given a glosscoat to add extra shine/extra depth. The chest plate Eagle was painted bleached bone, then given a wash of "fleshwash" ink (as was the skull on the right knee and other bone detailing). Painting bones white and hitting them with fleshwash is another fun way to get an interesting apprearance - pics of this technique are here . Silver detailing in the jumppack intakes, rebreather grill and abdomen details were done in a silver (I forget which) and hit with a black ink wash to bring out the details :-) see more of how I paint my Blood Angels back to the Death Company display If you've enjoyed your visit here
